Harbans created a real relationship with us and understood how serious we were about the type of home we wanted. At times, we felt like we were bombarding him with listings and questions, but he was extremely patient and would call to discuss the features of each one at a time, booking flexible viewing times around our full-time jobs. At viewings, he was even honest when he didn't feel a home was what we were looking for. He would say "This one is not right for you" - but would never give up on helping us find the right one. He displayed an extraordinary level of patience and flexibility, never pushing a home on us unless he absolutely felt it was the right one and within our budget. There was not a single time we felt he was doing this just to make a sale.

If he didn't know an area we inquired about, he would not pretend to, but rather would recommend another agent who does. He also understands home inspection requirements and what to look for and helped us to gain a better idea of the market with accurate predictions in a rather unpredictable time. As my kids are growing, all three have contacted him and are dealing with him on different transactions. A person I can trust to my children is obviously trustworthy and qualified. Even when they were considering a house outside of his area, he would provide assistance through his colleagues and advise on market conditions, explaining the entire process to novices. He has incredible patience with young people and slowly and professionally advises them of the pitfalls and advantages of different scenarios.

He conducted all the business transactions himself and informed us when a decision was required. He took a big headache off us, from advertising to showing, dealing with the offer, arranging site visits by the buyer after contract was signed, arranging necessary details with the lawyer. The process turned out to be far less scary than we imagined at first. He guided us through each process step by step and was available ANYTIME we contacted him day and night. Always prompt and courteous, looking after our interest first.
